The Education Intern will work under the direction and mentorship of the Aquaponics Education Coordinator to support program related needs. Projects may include: ECO-Cycle maintenance and manufacturing, data entry & analysis, inventory accounting, classroom visits, curriculum implementation, and writing opportunities.
The Aquaponics Tech Intern will work under the direction and mentorship of the Aquaponics Technician to support program related needs. Projects may include: planting seeds, harvesting produce, research, water quality testing, system maintenance, attending events, as well as construction assistance using wood, metal and PVC.
My internship at ECOLIFE has taught me more than I could have learned in a classroom. As the social media intern, I learned marketing skills and how truly important social networking is to a company. The hands-on experience has been priceless.
